This class is designed as a direct follow-on class to our introductory courses. We explore ways of deepening our meditation practice and introduce fundamental and basic teachings from the Buddhist tradition. We investigate how to apply these teachings to our everyday lives. The class usually involves meditation, a short presentation and the opportunity for discussion.
Lunchtime Meditation
Tuesdays 1.00 - 2.00pm
This drop-in class offers an opportunity to meditate at lunchtime with others. The meditation will be led with some instruction and will last approximately 40-45 minutes.
Sangha Class
Mondays 7.30pm - 9.30pm
This class is for people who are familiar with fundamental Buddhist teachings. It is a focus for those with more experience of practicing within the context of the Newcastle Buddhist Centre and the wider FWBO.
