Breathworks Living Well with Pain and Illness Course
This course offers mindfulness-based pain management and strategies for living well for anyone living with chronic pain or illness whatever the diagnosis. Mindfulness is an ancient skill that is increasingly recognised as a powerful tool for engaging with the challenges of modern lives and living a richer life with greater initiative and confidence. Each week you will learn new strategies and approaches within a warm and friendly group setting. These will include:
- Breath awareness
- Body awareness and relaxation
- Gentle mindful movement
- Training in how to manage pain in daily life
- Mindfulness meditation practice, including cultivating kindliness towards yourself and empathy for others
