The Newcastle Buddhist Centre is no longer hiring space for yoga classes. However we do have two yoga classes available through Mindfulness Based Therapies as part of the Mindful Communities Project funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund. These classes begin in November 2014.
Tuesdays – 10:30am-12pm – Mindfulness and Movement: A combination of mindfulness meditation and gentle bodywork (yoga/Pilates). Suitable for people experiencing chronic pain, stress and/ or anxiety.
Thursdays – 12pm-1pm – The Body Connection: Mindful Yoga – Stretch, release and heal – suitable for all levels of experience.
Both of these classes are free of charge. However any donations are gratefully received and will help to support the project.
