Regular classes, morning meditations, chill out at the weekend and Sangha Nights in April

Regular classes 

All our events are taking place in our new centre at 187 Westgate road.

Monday Drop-In Beginners Meditation: 5:30pm-6:30pm Class starts promptly so please arrive at 5.15pm 
Class runs 9th 16th 23rd 30th April No class 2/4/18. All welcome. These events are free but we ask for a donation towards the upkeep of the centre if you can spare it.
Monday Drop-In Buddhism For Today Class:  6.45 – 7.30pm Dates as for above. This class covers the life of the Buddha and his key teachings. Topics include, ethics, karma and love, ritual and mantra, and spiritual friendship. These introductory sessions follow an 8 week cycle (the next cycle of which begins on 16th April) and take place every Mondayat 6.45pm. No need to book, just drop in. Sessions are free, donations welcome.

Drop-in early morning meditations There will be morning meditations from  7.30-8.30am and 9-9.40am (doors open at 7am) from Tuesday 3rd April – Friday 6th April. Open to all from beginners to seasoned meditators. Free (though donations help towards the costs of running the centre).

New – Weekend Chillout Mantra Hour  Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday evenings, 8-9pm (including bank holidays) on 6-8th, 13th-15th and 20th-22nd April. Come and chill out, evoking the presence of the Buddha with a mantra session led by Jyotipala. All are welcome – no experience of meditation necessary. Please arrive before 8pm as we might not be able to answer the door after that. By donation.

Sangha nights in April. 

Our timings for Sangha nights at our new centre are:
5.30-6.30pm – shared vegan supper (please bring a contribution)
6:30-7:10 – meditation
7:15-8:15 – Dharma study (or puja)
8.15- 8.35 – Break
8:35- 9.15 – meditation

Wednesday 4th April Aryashila will give a talk about Amoghasiddhi
Wednesday 11th April The Footsteps of the Buddha – Akuppa will share some reflections on the Buddha and our own Triratna tradition following his pilgrimage to India.
Wednesday 18th April Jyotipala will share some thoughts about Vairocana.
Wednesday 25th April Tonight Saddhasura will talk to us about Vajrasattva.
