Monday Drop-In Beginners Meditation: 5:30pm-6:30pm Class starts promptly so please arrive at 5.15pm as you will need to sign in at reception at Broadacre House before attending this class.
Class runs 2nd, 9th, 16th. 23rd, 30th October. All welcome. These events are free but we ask for a donation if you can spare it.
Monday Drop-In Buddhism For Today Class: 6.45 – 7.30pm covers the life of the Buddha and his key teachings. Topics include, ethics, karma and love, ritual and mantra, and spiritual friendship. These introductory sessions follow an 8 week cycle and take place every Monday at 6.45pm. No need to book, just drop in. Sessions are free, donations welcome.(Dates same as for Beginners Meditation drop in).
Drop-in early morning meditations This month there will be morning meditations from 7.30-8.30am and 9-9.40am (doors open at 7am), from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th October. Open to all from beginners to seasoned meditators. Free (though donations help towards the costs of running the centre).
Wednesdays Sangha nights
The evening is open to everyone interested in Buddhism and meditation who want to get to know other Buddhists. We’ve arranged Sangha nights so you can come to the early part of the evening, the later part, or both. The timetable for each Wednesday evening is:
5:30-6:30 – opportunity for shared vegan supper – please bring along a contribution
6:30-7:10 – meditation
7:15-8:15 – Dharma study (or puja)
8.15- 8.35 – Break
8:35- 9.15 – meditation
