Buddhism

Buddhism has developed effective methods for working on and transforming our lives for the better. It opens up a path of personal growth and spiritual development leading to greater awareness, integration and compassion.

Through our classes on Buddhism, we explore how to put Buddhist principles into practice in our everyday lives. The classes are therefore not simply Buddhist Theory, but are designed to have practical application to our lives. They are open to all who are familiar with our meditation practices and you are free to participate in them at your own pace.

As Buddhism is essentially about changing ourselves for the better, and because meditation is seen as the primary means of effecting that change, we recommend you start your exploration of Buddhism by attending an introductory course. We run several courses throughout the year, either on a Wednesday evening or over a weekend.

Having completed one of our introductory courses in meditation and Buddhism there are follow-on classes available to continue your exploration.
