The Buddha and Kisagotami: Sangha Evening 5 December

Jyotipala will be reflecting on the story of the Buddha’s encounter with Kisagotami, the mother who was unable to face the death of her baby. This is the first in a series of evenings where we look at the Buddha’s encounters with people and the effect he had on them.

Sangha Nights are open to all those who are familiar with the two main meditation practices. You can come to all or part of the evening. The following are the best arrival and departure times.
Doors open 5.30pm and evening begins with a shared meal (bring vegan contributions please)
6.30pm meditation
7.15pm talk
8.15pm to 8.45pm tea break
8.45pm to 9.15pm mediation and chanting
Event is free, donations appreciated (recommendation £5 for this event)
